Welcome to Other Box Jobs! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, otherbox.co / jobs.otherbox.co (the “Site”) and our services. By accessing or using our Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

About Us

Other Box Jobs is a service operated by The Other Box Limited, trading as The Other Box. We are an award-winning diversity and inclusion company, committed to educating businesses on bias and cultivating inclusive environments. Registered in England and Wales under company number 11379688, our registered office is located at Beacon House, Ibstone Road, Stokenchurch, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, HP14 3FE.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our Site, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Use of the Site

2.1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Site. By using the Site, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.

2.2. Account Registration

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to update your information as needed.

2.3. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings or resumes.
  • Using the Site for any unlawful purposes or to solicit illegal activities.
  • Interfering with or disrupting the Site’s operation or servers.
  • Collecting or storing personal information from other users without their consent.
  • Impersonating any person or entity or misrepresenting your affiliation with any entity.

3. Job Listings and Content

3.1. Job Listings

Employers are responsible for the accuracy of the job postings they create. We do not guarantee the accuracy or validity of job listings.

3.2. Content Moderation

We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any content on the Site, including job listings, resumes, and user comments, at our discretion.

3.3. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Other Box Jobs or its licensors. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from the Site without our prior written consent.

4. Fees

4.1. The price for corporate organisations or individuals to post role opportunities with us are set out below (the Price). Each Price is for the posting of a single role opportunity with us:

  • Single listing £250 
  • 6 job listing package £1,500 
  • Charity listing £180
  • Existing Clients (completed all three digital courses) £150 
  • 6-month freelance contract £80 
  • Volunteer roles £30 

4.2. We may, from time to time, offer packages or reduced prices for the posting of multiple role opportunities. Such packages or reduced rates are offered solely at our absolute discretion. Where you choose to accept the purchase of a package or reduced rates, you acknowledge and agree that you may not be entitled to the same package or reduced rate at a future date.

4.3. Any Service purchased must be used within twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. Any Services not used within this time will expire, and no refunds will be issued.

4.4. The Prices are exclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT), or equivalent sales tax. You will pay any applicable VAT to us on receipt of a valid VAT invoice.

4.5. We may increase the Prices at any time by giving you not less than 14 business days’ notice in writing provided that the increase does not exceed ten percent (10%) of the Prices in effect immediately prior to the increase.

4.6. Notwithstanding clause 4.5, we may increase the Prices with immediate effect by written notice to you where there is an increase in the direct cost to us of supplying the relevant Services which exceeds ten percent (10%) of the Price.

5. Payment

5.1. We will invoice you for the Services, partially or in full, at any time following our acceptance of the Order.

5.2. Unless otherwise agreed with us in writing via email, you will pay all invoices:

  • in full without deduction or set-off, in cleared funds within ten (10) days of the date of each invoice; and
  • to the bank account or using the payment methods we nominate from time to time.

5.3. Time of payment is of the essence. Where sums due under these Terms are not paid in full by the due date:

  • we may withdraw any role opportunities that have been posted on our website, social media platforms, or through any other platform or software which we may utilize;
  • we may, without limiting our other rights, charge you for our costs for recovering the late payment, as well as charge interest on such sums at ten percent (10%) a year above the base rate of the Bank of England from time to time in force, and interest shall accrue on a daily basis, and apply from the due date for payment until actual payment in full, whether before or after judgment.

6. No Refunds 

6.1 All fees and charges paid to The Other Box Limited for the use of Other Box Jobs Services are non-refundable. Once payment has been made and the Order has been accepted, no refunds will be issued, regardless of the reason for cancellation or dissatisfaction with the Other Box Jobs Services.

6.2 In exceptional circumstances, at our sole discretion, we may consider refund requests. Such requests must be submitted in writing to hello@otherbox.co within 1 day of the Order being placed. We reserve the right to refuse any refund request for any reason.

6.3 If you believe you are entitled to a refund due to an error on our part, please contact us at hello@otherbox.co with detailed information regarding your claim. We will review the claim and notify you of our decision. Our decision on refund requests is final and binding.

6.4 Initiating a chargeback through your bank or credit card provider is not an appropriate or valid means of obtaining a refund. If you initiate a chargeback, we reserve the right to immediately terminate your access to Other Box Jobs Services and pursue legal action to recover any amounts due.

7. User Content

7.1. Ownership and License

By submitting content (e.g., job listings, resumes, comments) to the Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, modify, and display the content.

7.2. Responsibility for Content

You are solely responsible for the content you submit, and you agree to indemnify us against any claims arising from your content.

8. Privacy Policy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Other Box Jobs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or your inability to use the Site.

9. Links to Other Sites

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these external sites.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend Your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if You breach these Terms and Conditions.

Upon termination, Your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. 

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Dispute Resolution

If You have any concern or dispute about the Service, You agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the Company.
